Multi-award winners 2020/21 of Central England Prestige Award 2020/2021.
The Arches Project in Digbeth Arts Quarter, Birmingham is a not-for-profit organisation run by, and for the benefit of artists, creatives, and designer-makers throughout the UK and abroad.
Over the years we have enjoyed extensive media coverage including Central TV, Sky, and local newspapers.
Our success story for 2019 is Jacob Chandler. Jacob was commissioned by Telford Council to do a sculpture to display at the entrance to Telford Shopping Centre. This is a quote from Jacob
“...it all started with The Arches Project for me....”
“The art world is quite a difficult one to really get into...there are
often quite a lot of barriers be it financial or travel….The Arches
Project] offers a unique opportunity... it offers affordable exhibitions...it was really useful to me because at the start of my career I had a lot of ideas... I wasn’t sure of the likelihood of making a career in the arts a success...going there and seeing other people trying and meeting other successful artists....the main thing was how warm the atmosphere was. It felt like a family... it gave me a
lot of confidence in the art world, knowing that people were there to help, the support I received as a young artist has been phenomenal and
that started with The Arches Project for me”
